Love as the Compass

With age comes wisdom. Understanding. We all have seasons of anguish, of despair. We all hurt each other, whether it's intentional or not.

If we knew the true cost, the weight that comes from hurting others, we would resist the urge to default to anger, to vengeance. To emanate from ego. It is true; "when we hurt others, we are hurting ourselves".

Healing takes courage. Courage to confront your trauma, your triggers. Courage to face yourself. Courage to decide to move on.  Healing comes from acknowledging you've been wronged and choosing forgiveness. Set yourself free of the inevitable bitterness that grows in the absence of an apology. One you may never receive.

If an emotion does not serve you, let that shit go. Ask for help if you are struggling. In some way, we all are. You are NOT a burden.  Love others enough to accept they are on their own journey, their own timeline. We grow at different speeds. Some appear light years ahead, most are still stumbling through. None of us are infallible.  If your people continually hurt you, they are not your people. It is ok to let go, to move on, to clear space in your life for Your people. They are out there. They will love and accept you in all your intricacies, just as you are.

Love yourself enough to extend grace and forgiveness. Forgiving yourself can often be the hardest. But You ARE worthy.   Love your body enough to hydrate and nourish it adequately. The corporeal You is a masterpiece that sustains life. Appreciate the uniqueness that is You.

Love and feed your mind, your spiritual and emotional needs that encourage the greatest, most loving version of you. You have so much light and loveliness to share with the world. Allow yourself to shine.  Shine like your life depends on it, because it does. Life is fleeting and the years go by so quickly. Be your authentic, original, beautiful self.  Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others. It does not cost you anything. Fulfillment is priceless.

And remember that in the end it all really comes down to Love. The true embodiment of Love.  I Love You.
